Primary Use: Clinically used for hemorrhoid with symptoms of bleeding, pressure and soreness, and prolapsed anus etc.; or used for the purpose of preventing the hemorrhoid.

Other Use: In TCM, energetically used for those identified as Damp Heat or Toxic Heat tangling with blood stasis and blocking the lower Jiao or Du meridian, with or without the spleen Qi collapse.
